Fueled by volunteers, our mission is to actively preserve and promote the diverse spectrum of African American heritage.

Through engaging educational and cultural activities, we aim to enrich the entire community. 

 Our vision is to ensure the long-term sustainability of the annual Juneteenth Celebration of New Bern. 

We aspire to expand beyond the parade, festival, and fireworks, fostering the growth of multi-day community collaborative events. 

By partnering with like-minded organizations, we strive to create lasting impacts that celebrate African American heritage and benefit the community as a whole.
